The staff is well-trained, early check-in & late check-out. Central location, within walking distance of a wooden arch bridge.
-
We loved the hotel, its impressive location and staff. There were reliable internet and complimentary parking available. The beach nearby was wonderful and the view was breathtaking!
-
We enjoyed almost every detail: brilliant location, very attentive staff. Stayed in nicely decorated king guest room with coffee, rose petals and balloons. Although you guys made our stay really comfortable, beds were very hard. Variety of outstanding options for meal.
Views appeared to be ugly.
-
Ideal location with impeccable service and exceptional staff. Comfortable base for a short stay. The facilities in the queen room were basic, beds were really comfy.
Bad views from the window.

It was a nice experience overall. Their service was welcoming too. The place was a couple of blocks away from Cambridge downtown.

Better choose this place to stay when in Cambridge. The hotel was outstanding, the room was good-sized and average, had essentials for a pleasant enough stay. Reasonably good breakfast, extraordinary service;)))
-
Excellent stay, we were there for 1 day. Facility was perfectly clean and VERY FINE. Enviable location - close to emmanuel college. Very cheerful staff, always with a smile. Breakfast offered plenty of options and was gorgeous.
-
Good home base for exploring Cambridge. We loved the central location and how spotlessly clean the place was kept. They have breakfast, it costs gbp 15 per person.
-
excellent value for money and great staff. it was really close to saint john's punt pool. just a walk down to bull & bass restaurant, where you can have lunch. our junior suite accommodated us perfectly. it was a 4-star hotel in every way.
-
Decent sized rooms and efficient staff. The hotel was placed in the central location. Apart from that, Sedgwick Museum of Geology was 5 minutes' drive away. The restaurant had hot food.
-
The welcome is worth mentioning. The staff (she was from Holland) was so friendly and helpful that it almost felt like coming home after being away. This was replicated by most of the staff I have to admit, even at breakfast.
Honestly nothing I can think of.

The excellant front desk reception staff.A very good breakfast
In bathroom all toiletries had not been replenished and no shower cap
-
Front of house staff a little business like for my tastes. Efficient but could be more friendly. Concierge was great- very helpful. Good parking facilities. Room was good.
-
The staff were amazing - they were extremely polite and professional, on the way in and out. They answered my queries about breakfast, and arranged me a morning newspaper, without fuss. Most importantly though (and something I will remember), we overslept but no-one fussed about check-out times, over-stay charges, etc.. they just thanked us and bid us a good journey. Refreshing stuff - I wish more hotels would operate like this!
Tiny gripes, just to help you - the bathrooms could be a bit plusher.. between the shower curtain, soap dispenser and hand rail, there was not a lot of space to shower! Also, at these room rates (we paid £150), you *really* need to offer free wifi (even Starbucks manage this, in return for a £2 coffee), and having breakfast included would have been a nice gesture too.

Central location. Valet parking
Overall look rather doudy. Unimaginative interior design. Bedroom rather depressing with nasty a/c smell. Fixed windows and therefore no possibility of fresh air. Poor view from bedroom window. Main entrance straight onto stairs and escalator not very welcoming
